This design is inspired by the legendary work of Oscar Reutersvard (1915-2002) who created hundreds of “impossible bridge” illustrations similar to the one printed on these hoodies. Reutersvard is also credited with inventing the “impossible triangle” in 1934 when he was just 18 years old. His work has inspired countless artists throughout the past 100 years including Penrose and Escher.
